It is ideal for stoves, inserts or pellet boilers.
They are made from softwood from sustainably managed forests within 150 km of the production plant, which greatly reduces CO2 emissions.
By choosing an EN Plus A1 pellet, you are guaranteed to buy a pellet that respects strict standards of manufacturing and fuel storage.
The EN Plus A1 certification meets the same criteria as the DIN Plus, concerning the moisture content (less than 10%), the ash content (less than 0.7%) but also the density and length (less than 40 mm).
If you want a cheap, Belgian, environmentally friendly and good quality pellet, the ECOPOWER is for you.
There are 3 main certifications: DIN Plus, EN Plus and NF.
Here are the common points: They are all based on the same criteria in length of pellets, density-strength ratio, the rate of ash, dust and moisture.
Here are the differences: NF is a French certification, DIN Plus is German and EN Plus A1 is European. The calorific values: between 4.6 and 5.5 kWh/kg for DIN PLus and EN Plus A1 and higher than 4.6 kWh/kg for NF.
If your pellet is French, Belgian or German and has at least one of these certifications, you will have a good quality wood pellet.
